Ms. Deepa Lal
Ms. Deepa Lal has Fourteen Years of work experience in the Food Industry. She has worked for Nestle Fiji Limited for four years as a Laboratory Technician and as Factory Hygienist. She served at Atlantic and Pacific Packaging Company Limited (Subsidiary FMF Foods Limited) for three years as Quality Assurance Manager. For the past Seven years, Ms. Lal has been employed by FMF Foods Limited as Group Quality Assurance Manager.
Ms. Lal Professional Representation from Food Industry focuses on Food Safety and Quality. Insight knowledge and decision making in current Food Safety Practices and Standards utilized globally such as ISO Standards. Awareness and Training held on ISO 9001:2015, ISO 22000:2005, SQF 2000 Level 3 and HACCP ensures that core aspects that maintain food safety are well established and practiced throughout the industry. Furthermore, Ms. Lal has done food safety training and implementing HACCP and ISO 22000 Standards for Small and Medium enterprises in Agricultural Sectors to further assure safe quality products for customers.
Ms. Jagruti Chauhan
Ms Jagruti Chauhan is an educational facilitator with 19 years of experience in teaching and has skills in developing, auditing and implementing curriculum, principles and training to assist in research and development in order to motivate, invent, improve and bring awareness in the area of food safety. She has worked for ITC as National Food Safety Counsellor Coordinator for: Fiji: Improvement of Key Services to Livestock and Livestock Products, where she assisted in training of the trainer ( TOT) on hygiene/HACCP, market training on hygiene, food safety awareness workshops, market research and enterprise profiling in the livestock sector.
She has graduated with her Bachelors of Science (Food Science and chemistry) and postgraduate diploma in food chemistry. Currently she is pursuing MSc in the same field. She has been trained on Food Safety Systems and Implementing HACCP and ISO22000 by International Trade Centre (ITC) and European Union development programme.
Ms. Daventy Naidu
I am a food safety trainer and consultant with 13years experience in food manufacturing industry. I have provided HACCP consultation for various food manufacturers in Fiji. I am also one of the key executive member of Fiji’s first ever Food Safety Association. I have conducted training programs on Food Safety Management, ISO 9001-2008 implementation and auditing, HACCP implementation and ISO 22000:2005
I have been actively involved with Ministry of Health as consultant trainer for relevant food safety training for Hotels and restaurants. My experience and association with people from various domains helps me to effectively create enthusiasm & awareness in the field of food safety training and consultancy.
Mr. Ashney Singh
Mr. Ashney Singh has over thirty four years of experience in the food industry specializing in dairy, poultry, snacks and feed in disciplines of production and quality assurance. He has set up and maintained several HACCP systems across the diverse range of products that came under his jurisdiction. His special passion is in developing new products and has several iconic products under his belt. He has also been instrumental in effecting process improvement.
